For this section I am just going to factory restore my Steam Deck so I can make sure all instructions will work the exact same as my setup and nothing interferes with with the configuration. The Steam Deck I have is a 256GB model with a 512GB Sandisk Extreme SD Card. I am using a Hiearcool USB Type-C Hub Pro (Model:UCN3286) to connect USB and HDMI. I do not think it would cause an issue to use a different USB hub or Steam deck model but I just wanted to note it. I am also using a wirless mouse and keyboard plugged into the USB hub to make typing and configuration easier.
